Monday Motivation- Turn Up The Heat

I recently joined Facebook for personal reasons (I have a high school reunion being planned on there) and found another potential time-suck into the black hole called the internet. I don't see how people do it with Blogging, Facebook and Twitter (I haven't taken the Twitter plunge yet).

But my little Cape Cod with no central air-conditioning provides the perfect solution to curbing my social networking hours...I just leave the window air conditioner off upstairs. That way, the only times I can stand to be on our only internet computer for more than five minutes is in the early morning and sometimes late at night. So, sorry if I don't get around to commenting as much as usual...chances are, it's just too freaking hot.

What about you? Any weather-proof ideas to share about how you manage your social networking time?

  1. I only blog, etc once I'm done my writing! Otherwise... I fear I'd never get anything done!

  2. I only spend time online when I know I have the time. I'm pretty strict about sticking to my writing schedule and reaching self made deadlines. That's a good way to do it, Jennifer!

  3. Haha, that's a good method ;) I've had to set Facebook time limits for myself in the past, but now that the novelty's worn off, I'm not as addicted to it anymore.
