Relationships in YA need to be more realistic so teens don't expect fantasy romance in real life.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07716190503345068698noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-784301609008008440.post-87471161580933940382011-09-14T16:10:47.468-04:002011-09-14T16:10:47.468-04:00"I think it's important and more realisti..."I think it's important and more realistic for teens to explore options instead of being overwhelmed by one "perfect" and "everlasting" love." I have to agree. I don't mind when a character has a crush as her one and only focus, but I like when she knows he won't be the last boy she'll ever date. Or they don't fall in love after a week. I think being realistic about expectations is a nice change.Tracey Neithercotthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16539278941411542797noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-784301609008008440.post-72676043301043364232011-09-14T15:36:47.176-04:002011-09-14T15:36:47.176-04:00I totally have a few Freudians in my repertoire an...I totally have a few Freudians in my repertoire and just recently realized it.
