A-Z How Many Have You Read/Heard Contest (Letters Y and Z)

A to Z is in its final day. It's been a blast. Thanks so much to our hosts:  Arlee Bird, Alex J Cavanaugh, Jen Daiker and Talli Rolland.
I'm combining "Y" and "Z" for my How Many Have You Read/Heard Contest. Each day I've featured YA audiobooks I've listened to that have titles starting with that day's letter.

To enter, comment on which books you've read. Most will count as one entry. Older/more obscure books will count as two.

You have until Sunday at noon to make any additional entries. Then I'll draw names for several prizes including cool bookmarks, books, ARCs and a $10 Barnes and Noble gift certificate and announce winners on Monday.

Now for Y and Z

I expected to be desperate for "Z" books, but "Y" surprised me. The only one I've read is:

The Year of Secret Assignments (Ashbury/Brookfield, #2) Not what I expected from the blurb, but Australian YA always seems to surprise me in pleasant ways. (worth two entries)

This one was YA Dytopian before YA Dystopian was cool. Originally published in 1975, it was re-released in 1987 and 2007. I found it through my library to use for my "Z" day. I will give five entries to anyone who might have read this one. (worth five entries)

To enter, comment on which ones you've read. Feel free to go back to old posts and comment on any you missed or finished recently.

And thanks, everyone, for participating. This has been so much fun! In fact, I think I'll do my monthly contests this way, using whatever audiobooks I finished that month.

Now, for A to Z, which is in its final days. Hosted by:  Arlee Bird, Alex J Cavanaugh, Jen Daiker and Talli Rolland.
For those who maybe haven't stopped by before, I'm doing a How Many Have You Read/Heard Contest. Each day will feature YA audiobooks I've listened to that have titles starting with that day's letter.

"A" and "The" don't count in the title, and I'm not using multiple titles in a series or author names unless I'm desperate.

Now for (the most dreaded letter of any alphabet-related endeavor)
All I've got is:

The Dangerous Days of Daniel X (Daniel X, #1) I know, it's a stretch for the "X", but I'm counting it. (worth two entries)

Also, The Exiled Queen (Seven Realms, #2)   This one is on my TBR list, but it's too new to order from my library system yet. (worth two entries)

If anyone thinks of an "X" book I might have listened to, I'll give you two  entries if I have.

To enter, comment on which ones you've read.

The month is coming to a close. Feel free to go back and add a comment to any entries of TBR books you have since finished.

Road Trip Wednesday and A-Z How Many Have You Read/Heard Contest (Letter W)

For anyone visiting from A-Z, my W post follows. But first, This week's YA Highway Road Trip topic:

If your WIP(s) or favorite book(s) were a song, which song would they be?

Frog Kisses and Fairytale Misses -First Cut is the Deepest- Sheryl Crow (first love lost)

One Hundred To-Dos - I Do- Colbie Caillat (the busy cynic who finds love)

Social Disorder- How Sweet It Is To Be Loved By You- James Taylor (perfectly unexpected love)

Cheater Beaters- Before He Cheats- Carrie Underwood (revenge)

Earthbound (WIP)- Imagine- John Lennon (striving for a perfect world)

Now for V

Vampire Academy (Vampire Academy, #1) This was my first Audible purchase since, despite its popularity, no one in my library coop has seen fit to buy the audio of this one. Then it sat on my Mp3 player until I realized I needed more "V" titles for this contest. I'm so glad I finally read it. Even if you think you're over the whole vampire thing, you'll probably enjoy this one. (worth one entry)
Vegan Virgin Valentine Great book about when a girl who thinks she's got it all figured out finds out she doesn't. (worth two entries)

Vixen (Flappers, #1) Gossip Girls, roaring twenties style. (worth two entries)

Valiant (The Modern Faerie Tales, #2) A runaway, New York City and the fae. This is the second one in the series, but my library didn't have the first one for me to listen to. (worth two entries)

Not many "V"s. If anyone thinks of one I might have listened to, let me know and I'll give you two  entries if I have.
